AP Cabinet meet on June 29

Getting down to work after the recent by-elections, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy is on a spree of review meetings in his office dealing with different subjects and issuing dos and don’ts to officials.

He has convened the next Cabinet meeting on June 29 after a gap of three months to seek ratification of the decisions taken by him.

The decisions include scrapping of some orders issued by the Rajasekhara Reddy government allowing concessions to various firms, including the one owned by Gali Janardhan Reddy.

Through various reviews on Wednesday, the Chief Minister asked the allied departments to be on alert against heavy rains and cyclones as the monsoon had set in.

He directed the Health Department to keep adequate stocks of medicines to meet emergencies following possible outbreak of communicable diseases.
