The nine-month old D V Sadananda Gowda led BJP Ministry in Karnataka would be expanded soon, state unit party President K S Eshwarappa said.

"The ministry will be expanded in ten or fifteen days. New faces will be inducted and some senior ministers are expected to be drafted for party work", he told reporters here.
Eswarappa said there would also be changes in portfolios of some ministers and some may get additional charge.

Currently there are eleven ministerial vacancies in the state against its permitted strength of 34 ministers and Gowda is handling at least 20 additional departments.
