The Special Lokayukta Court directed the Lokayukta police to register an First Information Report (FIR) against Housing Minister V. Somanna in connection with an illegal denotification case. They have been asked to complete the investigation and submit a report on August 2.

In his complaint filed on May 15, 2012, H. Yogendra produced documents showing that Mr. Somanna’s son Naveen Kumar “benefited” from the denotification of land facing the Outer Ring Road in Nagadevanahalli near Kengeri. The denotification was executed when Mr. Somanna was part of the government.
