Vijay Mallya , baron Kingfisher airlines taking on the crisis that the Cash-strapped Kingfisher is undergoing has said that the airlines will not close down.

On coming April 10, a last international flight of the will take off from New Delhi to London. In the action plan to tackle crisis submitted to government, Kingfisher has mentioned to put curtains on international operations.

According to sources, implementation of suspending the international operations will be done from March 25. There will be no flights to Dubai, Colombo, Kathmandu and Bangkok of the Kingfisher Airlines.

Kingfisher Airlines Chairman Vijay Mallya on Tuesday evening gave a presentation to DGCA on the financial health and planned operation related changes. He said that after April 10, Kingfisher will be operating only on domestic routes.

Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh has said that if Kingfisher does not follow the safety norms and fails to meet the financial standard, the government may cancel the license of the Kingfisher Airlines.

Singh also added that while operating with 18 aircrafts, the company failed to stick to its recovery plans.
